Keanu Reeves inspira com acrobacias na moto em anúncio do Squarespace para o Super Bowl

Leading up to the Super Bowl, Squarespace has featured actor Keanu Reeves in a series of teasers contemplating a website for his motorcycle company, Arch Motorcycle. In the ad that will air during the big game, Reeves uses inspiring self-affirmation language while surfing his cycle.

In the 30-second feature spot, we see a man standing atop his motorcycle as it rushes down a desert highway. A voice, like those on any self-help audio tracks, states “You are an important person…”

As the camera pans down, the voice becomes that of Reeves and we see that it is him riding the cycle and saying these self-affirming and empowering statements. As he jumps down and speeds away, text overlay tells viewers to go to the Squarespace website to “see what Keanu made.”

According to Squarespace, Reeves actually did his own stunt and made his website by using Squarespace technology.

The spot, Squarespace’s fifth consecutive Super Bowl campaign, will run during the big game as part of a larger brand campaign with Reeves, which includes two additional films intended to inspire viewers to take the first step in pursuing their passions by making a website on Squarespace.

Six years ago, with his co-founder Gard Hollinger and the rest of the Arch team, Reeves launched the American-made motorcycle company inspired by his passion for motorcycles. Arch chose Squarespace to launch their project into the world because of the companies’ shared emphasis on powerful design. Reeves, heavily involved in the creation of his bikes, also takes a hands-on approach managing the Arch Motorcycle website on Squarespace.

“There’s something about Squarespace that’s really accessible yet sophisticated,” said Reeves in a release. “The design and functionality share a similar ethos to Arch Motorcycle. When I was approached to make this commercial, we were already using the platform, which makes it a really organic fit.”

Squarespace founder and chief executive Anthony Casalena said: “Squarespace was created to empower individuals to realize their creative and entrepreneurial aspirations. Even in turbulent times, we’ve seen the persistence of the American entrepreneurial spirit, and are proud to have a small hand in making it easier for people to turn their dreams into reality. We hope that Keanu’s authentic Squarespace story inspires others to get out there and make it happen for themselves.”
