John Malkovich is seriously perplexed in Squarespace‘s 2017 Super Bowl Commercial.
“How is it that John Malkovich.com is taken?” John deadpans at the opening of the tech company’s spot, as he looks to buy his website for his new clothing collection. (P.S. Did you know he really is a clothing designer now?!)
“I really am him,” he muses in frustration. “There’s a film about me being me.”
And when he discovers who shares his moniker: “What the f–k is going on,” he yells. “How can you be John Malkovich?” (We’ll let you see for yourself who’s parking on his moniker.)
The tag line: “Get Your Domain Before It’s Gone.”
The commercial hits all the right notes as it lives at the intersection of art, reality and the ever-mysterious road that is John Malkovich.
